ESSENTIAL AGREEMENTS
The entire Keller School Community strives to "live" three essential behaviors throughout each and every day:
- being Respectful
- being Responsible Learners
- being Safe and In Control
When students are "caught" practicing these behaviors, especially in challenging situations, they may earn a Husky High Five ticket. One copy of the ticket is sent home to share with parents and the other is collected and put in a class box for the weekly prize drawing. Prize winners are announced on Keller's daily broadcast, (usually on Fridays).
Behavior Tracking and Calendar
In class students will have a calendar to track their behavior. Please look at this report every day with your child. Everyday your child starts the day on green. If your child is caught being kind, or responsible or respectful or just being a great friend and student they can clip up to the next color on the chart. If they reach Pink, they then get 1 "punch" on their reward card, and with 10 total "punches" they will earn a prize :) The focus is more on positive behavior management.
